Went here tonight from out of town for the first time coming here and Gerardo was our server. Gerardo was very attentive, courteous, and prompt with service. Our food came out fast! Best mexican restaurant in northern Indiana and in our area as well. We don't mind driving 1 hour and 10 min away for some great mexican food and margeritas. We ordered steak tacos mexican style and one 24 ounce margerita and the top of the line 60 ounce margerita. The tacos and margeritas were great, but i will not order the 60 ounce margerita for myself again as it took awhile for me to finish as it is very good. They are not cheap nor stingy on their alcohol. Best place to go to for margeritas! Chips and salsa were great as well! We will return!

The BEST Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. And the margaritas are superb. I had to share the 60 oz. Frozen mango, lime, and strawberry.

Love the food I took a party of 11 out Saturday we ordered and the food came out fast and the drinks were the best around we will be going back very soon.

I keep hearing smit the margaritas. I was in town for graduation and I decided to drop by. I did not get the fish bowl size drink and I'm pretty sure had I, I would not have been able to finish it before closing. The size was perfect and I had to make myself finish it. They were not stingy with the alcohol. It was very refreshing and delicious.

Benito is the best if you ever sit at the bar request him he is hilarious! Margaritas are very strong they will have you slapped .. you've been warned 😂

We Went Yesterday Night For My 46th Birthday. Excellent Food ( Chicken Fajitas ) Excellent Chips & Salsa & Guacamole 👍Sang To Me ( Shot Of Free Tequila ) & Great Service Of Staff.

The restaurant itself & staff are very nice & professional. No long wait time & seated very quickly. The food was okay & seasoned decently enough. If I were to go back it would be just for the drinks.

Stopped in for a real margarita, and man did we find a good one. They have about 5 sizes to choose from so you have options..I had top shelf tequila and the price was right..The bartender was awesome and friendly and the environment was right. I have not tried the food but I heard it is great too..I will be back for dinner and another world class margarita

even though my food was wrong twice by time it did get corrected it tasted amazingly good they're friendly the very clean environment

This place is awesome. The staff were very nice. When in town, I used to go to other place. Then it hit me, don't limit yourself. So I search. I found La Carreta. So glad I did the search.

This is hands down one of the best spots for Mexican food in the area. When everyone else fails at least La Carreta still has our backs... lol. We've lost quite a few Mexican food joints around these parts... they're not going anywhere.

Drinks are great, if you're a lightweight like me you'll only finish half of it! 😂 Food has been better, but it suffices.

My favorite fajita spot in the area. I get the chicken fajitas, wife gets the Texas fajitas. Fried in an iron pan, caramelized to perfection. Vegetables are cooked, but still crunchy. Fell in love with thier fajitas, so I have yet to try other menu items. If you like guacamole you'll love theirs. They have really good salsa and chips as well. Always awesome eating here. Service is always really good.

This restaurant was fun, tastefully decorated, and the food was delicious! Our server made our visit very fun and and relaxed, always making sure we had chips and salsa, and never let our drinks get low. They made great recommendations and our food and drinks were well made. I can’t wait to go back!

Margaritas and chips n salsa we're good, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was slimy as heck on both sides, the insides looked like stewed shredded chicken and onion/green pepper with no taste. They never offered a different dish or to recook. It's fine but damn don't order a basic quesadilla.

Pretty good. Super busy on Saturday nights, so expect to wait not only to sit but for your food too!
